Angela Clampitt was born and raised in Vandalia, Missouri. From 1993 to 1995, Angela lived in Springfield, Missouri to attend college. In 1995, she moved to Mexico, Missouri where she has lived ever since. Most of Angela's family still reside in Vandalia, Missouri. Angela is married to James A. (Jim) Clampitt, of Mexico, Missouri who is presently a paralegal at Clampitt Law.
They have five children between them and two grandchildren. Abby (1994) James (1996) and Darien (1996) all have graduated from Mexico High School (MHS) and work full time. Their grandchildren Lucas (2010) and Jackson (2015) live in Columbia with Abby, her husband and their father Erik Phillips.
Angela and Jim are members of Genesis Church in Mexico. Angela is a volunteer with Prison Fellowship Ministries and Beauty for Ashes. In addition, Angela and Jim have established a non-profit organization called Halfway House of Christ in order to serve offenders, ex-offenders and their families pursuant to God's plan and purposes.
Angela attended Van-Far and graduated from Van-Far High School in 1993. After high school, Angela attended Ozark Technical Community College where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Computer Electronics/Computer Networking. Angela joined Clampitt Law Firm in February of 2011 as a paralegal serving Mexico, MO and Randolph County. Before pursuing her legal career, she worked many years as an Administrative Assistant.
Angela's first priority is Jim, their children and grandchildren. She and Jim devote most of their time to Prison Ministry and community needs when the children are not at home. During winter months, the Clampitt family enjoys attending events for the children/grandchildren, movies and spending quiet time together. In the spring and summer, camping, softball/baseball and family time are prominent.

I hired Clampitt Law Firm to represent me in the custody of my son. Jim Sr. and his staff were always available to answer any of my questions and reassure me with any of my concerns. They were very upfront on what I should expect and never made any false promises or gave me false hope. During my initial visits with my son Jim would call and check with me to see how they were going (these were on a Sunday). They were all very professional at all times and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for everything .
